BEYOND THE RAINBOW
AS MUCH AS I
LOVED THE LIFE WE HAD AND ALL HE TIMES WE PLAYED,
I
WAS SO VERY TIRED AND KNEW MY TIME ON EARTH WOULD FADE
I SAW A WONDROUS
IMAGE THEN OF A PLACE THAT™S TROUBLE FREE
WHERE ALL OF US
CAN MEET AGAIN TO SPEND ETERNITY.
I SAW THE MOST
BEAUTIFUL RAINBOW, AND ON THE OTHER SIDE
WERE MEADOWS RICH AND
BEAUTIFUL- LUSH AND GREEN AND WIDE
AND RUNNING
THROUGH THE MEADOWS AS FAR AS THE EYE COULD SEE
WERE ANIMALS OF
EVERY SORT AS HEALTHY AS COULD BE
MY OWN TIRED,
FAILING BODY WAS FRESH AND HEALED AND NEW
AND I WANTED TO
GO RUN WITH THEM, BUT I HAD SOMETHING LEFT TO
DO I
NEEDED TO REACH OUT TO YOU TO TELL YOU I™M ALRIGHT
THAT THIS PLACE
IS TRULY WONDERFUL, THEN A BRIGHT GLOW PIERCED THE NIGHT
TWAS THE GLOW OF
MANY CANDLES, SHINING BRIGHT AND STRONG
AND BOLD
AND I KNEW THEN THAT IT HELD YOUR LOVE IN IT™S
BRILLIANT SHADES
OF GOLD.
FOR ALTHOUGH WE
MAY NOT BE TOGETHER IN THE WAY WE USED TO BE
WE ARE STILL
CONNECTED BY A CORD NO ONE CAN SEE
SO WHENEVER YOU
NEED TO FIND ME, WE™RE NEVER FAR APART
IF YOU LOOK
BEYOND THE RAINBOW AND LISTEN WITH YOUR HEART
If You

In Loving memory Of.....
Princess
(1999-2011)
Your
beautiful eyes, your perfect posture, your careful touch, your sweet
purr, and the little
crown we swore we saw on your head- all these traits will be greatly
missed.
Dad, Mom, Carrie, Katie, Richard, Buddy, and Miss Kitty love you. Rest
in peace, Princess .
"Sebastian" Myers
Dec. 27th, 1998 - Jan. 17th, 2011 If it should be that I
grow frail and weak
and pain should keep me from my sleep,
then will you do what must be done,
for this - - the last battle - - can't be won.
You will be sad I understand,
but don't let grief then stay your hand,
for this day, more than the rest,
your love and friendship must stand the test.
We have had so many happy years,
you wouldn't want me to suffer so.
When the times comes, please let me go.
Take me to where to my needs they'll tend,
only, stay with me till the end
and hold me firm and speak to me
until me eyes no longer see.
I know in time you will agree
It is kindness you do to me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
from pain and suffering I have been saved.
Don't grieve that it must be you
who has to decide this thing to do;
We've been so close - - we two - - these years,
Don't let your heart hold any tears.
We love and miss you dearly baby boy. Love, Brian & Brenda Myers
"Shadowglen's I'm it TDX CGC 'Tag'"
Oct. 6, 2003 - Oct. 23, 2010 Tag's breeder said it best,
"the candle that burn the brightest, burns the fastest.". Tag came to us with his Ready or Not, Here I Am attitude. I will miss the boy who first started
the sport of tracking the day I brought him home. From day one he
knew exactly what the game was, and he was going to be the
fastest dog
ever eat up all of the goodies on his track. Tag also proved to be:
-One of the fastest dogs to get to the glove at the end of whatever
tracks were laid for home to follow. - The dog that swallowed
tracking articles, whole, while his
smiling face conveyed, "What a good boy I am".
-The crazy lake Meade dog that could not swim in the lake
without pounding, biting & barking at the bubbles he made.
Yes, he was very loud and most annoying but funny as well
(at least his friends thought it was funny...some other...not so much).
- Big sissy Emma's personal ear cleaner (sucking her ears
until they were soggy mops hanging from her head.
- The silent shadow. From anywhere Tag could find his way to the side
of the unsuspecting snack maker, no matter how quiet they thought they
were.
- A navigational wizard. We don't know how he knew where we
were driving, but withing 3 miles of game lands or parks, he would
start yodeling. He knew all of the places where he had ever walked
and played. Tag was the dog that showed everyone that you could
have fun, every day, no matter how badly you felt.
We will miss that, "ready or not, here I am" boy, Tag.
"Emma Louise of Chestnut Hill TDX, CD, RE,
CGC" Nov. 26,
1998 - March 9, 2009 What I am
missing the most is... The way Emma jumped out of bed woofing orders to be fed her
morning meal,
never forgetting to stop by the toy basket to grab a favorite toy to
play with or
take
with
her
on
her
trips
away
from
home,
barking
every
time
she
got
out
of
the
car
letting
everyone
know
Emma
was
here,
looking
out
the
back
of
the
van
in
anticipation
of
hearing
her
name
when
her
"track"
was
ready,
walking
by
my
side
awaiting
a
delicious
morsel
to
appear
from
my
pocket
even
though
all
of
the
other
dogs
were
running
amok
in the
fields
and
woods,
stretching
to
rub
her
belly
on
the
cold
snowy
earth
or
finding
every
mud
hole
to
wallow
in
during
hot
weather,
swimming
with
just
her
front
legs
as
not
to
expend too
much
energy,
nudging
me
at
exactly
3:00
reminding
me
with
wide
eyes
that
is
was
supper
time,
coming
home
to
hear
Emma
barking
from
her
sentry
post
on
the
bed
as
I drove
down
the
driveway
into
the
garage,
spooning
with
me
anytime
I
was
on
the
floor
lying
down
or
taking
advantage
of
the
perfect
seat
by
setting
her
bum
on
my
lap,
coming
to
me at 10:00
in
the
evening
staring,
willing
me
to
go
with
her
so
she
could
snuggle
on
her
proper bed... not
the
doggie
bed
in
the
living
room,
waking
up
to
find
feet
in
my
back,
no
covers and only 3
inches
of
bed
under
my
body,
the
way
she
jumped
out
of
bed
woofing
orders
to
be fed her
morning meal.
What I miss most about Emma was her humor and her glee at my laughter.

'Mickey' and 'Sophie' From their family that loved
them. Elizabeth, Alvin and Makaya 'Quinn'
& 'Queenie'
This is for our Quinn. But I
have to say a little bit about our Queenie.
She was a 3
months old Malamute that came from the
Thomasville SPCA, and a handful. I
talked to 4 different trainers and they said she could
not be trained, well they were wrong. She
became the best and calmest dog you could ever
want. After she passed we got Quinn. My wife
didn't want a dog that looked like Queenie
but fell in love at first sight. I did not want a big dog
but I ended up with a 92# dog.
He turned out to be the best dog we ever had. I called him my gentle
giant. I used to be a truck driver and like Queenie he
went along with me all over the country. In
Texas they said he looked like a wolf, I told them
it was an Alaskan malamute collie mix but I
couldn't change their minds. I am talking
too much about the best dog ever but I have to say one
more thing about Quinn. When we were at the
SPCA, I was there to look at a dog after Queenie
passed but didn't find one. When we were about to leave
this man came in with this dog he
couldn't
hold
on
to.
The
dog
was running into me and I got a little scared with no where to go.
Then it came over and sat with me and looked
at me with the biggest brown eyes and said 'take
me home with you'. Fell in love instantly. It
turned out he was an abused dog that was not given
food or water. We took him to Dr Schmidt and he
said he had some problems and was little a little
on the side thin side. He grew
to be 125#. And that's why I call him my gentle giant. Goodbye ,
