Pets: “Bella” the flat-coat retriever

Michelle Mauldin joined the PVH client relations team in October 2013. A native of Columbus, Ohio, she spent several years living among the neon lights of both Reno and Las Vegas while working for America West Airlines. She started out in reservations at the Reno office and eventually became customer service supervisor at the Columbus Airport. Busy travel seasons gave her the perfect opportunity to practice her people skills.

“You have to find the rainbow in everything,” says Michelle. “Sometimes people are challenging, but they’re all different and you have to find the common ground.”

After 8 years with the airline, Michelle left to become a full time mom to daughter Olivia. Her husband Bob, who also worked for America West, eventually moved the family to Pennsylvania to live closer to their relatives. It was here that she decided to take a job working with animals, and chose PVH after bringing Bella, her flat coated retriever, in for an exam.

“I get to be on the floor and play with dogs!” gushes Michelle, who loves cats equally but is highly allergic. “I take a Claritin every day so that I can work here!”

Passionate about both football and boating, Michelle and Bob spend much of their leisure time in Maryland. They hold season tickets for the Baltimore Ravens, and enjoy their many excursions on the Chesapeake Bay. And as for her work at PVH, Michelle couldn’t be happier.

“I love this job, the friendships that I’m building, the teamwork, and the compassion,” she says. “It’s like a great big family here.”
